### Review

"You know when a book is so good that you are still reading it at 2 am....This book had it all: drama, laughter and a few tears as well.  The **chemistry between Harry and Tessa just sizzled off the pages**....If I could I would give this book **ten stars**, but I'm only allowed to give 5/5 stars." - Boonies123 Book Review

"There's nothing I love more than reading a beautifully written and unique historical romance! The Duke Identity by Grace Callaway is **easily one of my top reads of 2018**." - Nightingale Reads

*"*I truly love a story set in London's underworld, and to top it all off it has an enemies to lovers trope (which is my favourite). I adored Harry, he is **everything I enjoy seeing in a hero** and Tessa made me laugh so many times....Grace Callaway is a new author to me and I am definitely looking forward to reading more of her books." - 5 stars, Candace, Goodreads reviewer

"Harry and Tessa have a long road to travel before they realize that they can trust another person with their heart. There are many obstacles and they are not easily overcome but it is worth it in the end. There is so much **mystery, passion, heartbreak and love** that it was **hard to put the book down**. The characters are colorful, there is cheekiness in the story, and you cannot help but love them all." - 5 stars, Angela, Goodreads reviewer

"I have been waiting for this book for so long and I had very high expectations. I'm happy that The Duke Identity met those expectations and more. This book was so much fun to read. It had a little bit of everything: **steamy romance, strong familial love, compelling mystery, rich setting, adventure, and amazing main and supporting characters**." - 4.5 stars, Lubnaa, Goodreads reviewer

This book was okay, had a few nice steamy scenes. I enjoyed seeing crimelord Black again remember him from Ambrose Kent's book which is a favorite. A bit too much instalove for me.

This book wasn’t boring, but the characters didn’t really have any chemistry—sex, yes; chemistry, no. They also were lacking in the character department, which is probably part of the chemistry problem.

This is where I’ve started my Grace Callaway journey and now I’m not keen to go on. I’d heard only great things about this author and I usually tend to give the benefit of the doubt and rate higher for a first encounter, but 2/5 stars is the best I can give here.

Diddling was a wild word to use so much. In a sexual way. Diddling her petals. Diddling.

All’s to say though I really enjoyed this book!! The ending got a bit too long, but overall a great intro to the series. I loved the drama of her family being the underworld mobsters and him being the undercover police guy. It was so much fun when he was mistaken as her bodyguard.

4-4.5 stars, I would say. I really loved Bennett/Harry. He was sexy AF. I did think that the love portion of this book was stronger in the first half, although the plot definitely picks up in the second half. The insta love started to get hard to believe. Additionally, it was hard sometimes to think of Tessa as a woman and not a girl, which presented some problems for me in terms of imaging them as a couple. But, overall, a great story, nuanced and well written, and lovable characters!
