While there are similarities between the graphic novels and the tv series there are many differences. We are introduced to Hershel - a beloved character in the tv series and the farm. Andrea uses her backbone. Carl is healing. Glenn and Maggie hit it off. Again, a short lived bit of peace is found.

Don't think I expected Glenn to have his sights set on Carol at first but yay for Glenn/Maggie. Allen was a bit rude to Andrea but I love how much stronger comic Andrea is compared to how tv Andrea was. I half wish they had drawn out the barn reveal for a few more issues though. That was the one down side to this issue.
