This is one of those books I picked up as a kid years a go at Woolworths for 1 pound. It's been on my shelf ever since and I never actually read it, I don't know why cause then I would have probably loved it as I was an avid Famous Five reader and I loved the series on tv, the Children and the Phoenix or something, also an E- Nesbit story.
Now I did enjoy the story, I liked the humour in it and I liked the way it was told, from a child's point of view, someone with a lot of imagination, it made me want to be a child again.
