This is officially my favorite book of this series. My dream date is the same as Lia’s dream first date. Lia and Breaker are perfect for each other. I’m such a sucker for a friends to lover story… this is most definitely in my top 3.

Audiobook/Ebook Review: A Long Time Coming (Cane Brothers, #3) by Meghan Quinn, Narrated by: Erin Mallon and JF Harding

A familiar story with a modern twist that aims straight for the heart. From laugh out loud to break your heart, Breaker and Lia set a high bar for romantic comedy. Quinn plays emotions from ever angle. A Long Time Coming turns clueless into unforgettable. Whether flipping through the pages with gusto or listening on the go, Quinn and company gives frustrating an irresistible makeover.

I am extremely surprised with how thoroughly I enjoyed this book. Typically best friend to lovers is not my cup of tea, but the storyline was well written, I loved that Lia finally stood up for herself, and I am appreciative that we got half the book with Breaker recognizing his feelings and at least a fourth of the book with them together. That never happens and I’m appreciative it did here. Would definitely recommend.
