A best friends to lovers where he helps FMC plan her wedding.
The concept was cute. However I wasn’t expecting the ow (Birdy) to take up so many scenes with breaker. They baked together, hung out and even kissed multiple times. Breaker and Lia were completely platonic about their relationship the first 40% into the book. Even Lia broke up with her fiancé more than halfway in the book. I found breaker and lia’s relationship easy going and natural throughout the book I wasn’t a fan of them exploring other interests for so long that was shown.
After the 70% mark their relationship was really hot and sweet! I really loved how Breaker Lia knew each other so well. All their scenes flowed naturally.
Huxleylottie crumbs were amazing! Huxley the grumpy brother getting tears in his eyes hearing he’s going to be a father to a girl

THIS BOOK was soo amazingg!!!!!!! I loved every bit of it! I am not usually a fan of friends to lovers trope in a book because sometimes I think its really obvious that one person is in love and the other is oblivious and that is cringy to me. But the way this book tackled it was amazing. Their friendship was so sweet and full of caring and shared interests and quirks, I loved every bit of it.
I loved how patient Breaker was with Ophelia, their sexual chemistry was off the charts, and the scenes were so beautifully written that I really enjoyed reading them. Breaker's devotion and the banter between him and his brothers was great and I thoroughly enjoyed their conversations and advice. (Even when Breaker did not follow it) I also really liked the fact that there was no 3rd act breakup and that they truly communicated with each other about their feelings. The nerdy stuff was a huge plus.
My only criticism was how Briana treated herself, I know that the book was trying to portray that in a very nuanced way, and it worked sometimes, but I felt like there needed to be more focus on why she felt that way? I truly hated the "ex" mother-in-law - what a nightmare honestly. And I hated that Briana's ex cared so much for his mother and appearances that he completely ignored her. I also hated that being such a strong person she allowed that and went with it for soo long.
All in all a great read!

This was absolutely a 5-star read! I’m convinced Meghan Quinn puts crack in her books because I eat them up every single time 😭. This was the final book in the first series I’ve read by her, and wow—I devoured it. From the very beginning to the very last page, it had me giggling, smiling, and fully invested.
The banter? Hilarious. The spice? Chef’s kiss. The plot? So well done. But my favorite part? The found family. I’m genuinely going to miss all the characters and couples from this series—each one stole my heart in a different way.
Lia and Breaker were so cute and gave the ultimate friends-to-lovers vibes. Their connection felt real, playful, and so swoon-worthy. I’m already itching to jump into more of the Meghan Quinn universe because this was such a joyful and heartwarming read. Highly recommend for a feel-good, laugh-out-loud romance with all the right emotional beats.

Finallyyyyyy I’ve finished this godforsaken series. This was by far the best book of the lot though! I’ve learned that billionaire romances just aren’t for me, but this book wasn’t really about that at all. And a friends to lovers generally always hits!
4.5⭐️ definitely my favorite of the series, but at almost 500 pages long it was definitely starting to drag
I’m so sad to be finished with the Cane brothers but this was a perfect ending to the series. I couldn’t get enough. Just everything about it. Perfect
