Some of Mead's Succubus books have been stronger than others, but I've generally always enjoyed reading them. This appears to be the last in the series and provided some nice closure for the characters.
I know my Goodreads friends are questioning this rating, so let me explain.
I’ve read every single one of Richelle’s books, and this series is by far my least favorite. I forced myself to be dragged with it because everybody loved it and I thought at some point I would start to enjoy it, and I’d be hooked. But that didn’t happen. There’s nothing lovable about any of the characters…except for maybe Seth. They have no moral fiber. I know their demons and that’s the point, but it’s hard to love and cheer for characters who are that way. I would rather have no friends than have the friends in this book.
Don’t get me wrong, the series and this book had its good parts. Georgina has her witty personality and I do enjoy sweet Seth, but it just wasn’t my favorite. It was however a fast, easy read. Georgina finally got her happy ending and a new start. I will always continue to follow Richelle’s career and I have high hopes for Bloodlines and the ending to her Dark Swan series.
In the words of Jerome, who said it best, “You know, I might miss some of your witticisms when you’re gone, but one thing I won’t miss? Your overwhelming sense of melodrama and despair.”

HTis book was an amazing ending to the series. All dreams came true and no trouble at the end.
I'm crying right now at 03:30 am... Idk how to feel about this book, the last one of the Georgina Kincaid’s series.
I didn’t really like the beginning, but the last 100 pages were all worth it. Roman... *crying again* I can't believe what he did for her, he was so... (no, no, I can't express my feelings for him at this point, I'm shocked)... so beautiful, brave and powerful until his very last moment. And then Carter... this amazing creature touched my heart in a different but beautiful way.
I have to say that I expected more about Jerome, I thought that he would change his mind (and heart) for his Georgie, but in a certain way I'm Ok with his posture, he is a demon after all, right?
And finally Seth and Georgina... what can I say? they were meant to be together, all those lives through space and time are prove enough of that.
I give 5 stars to the whole series because at the very end I could only put a smile on my teary face.

This might sound weird, but I put off reading this book for a really long time. Why? Because I didn't want to see the series end! After 5 books, Georgina and her friends felt like my friends. Reading the last book meant that the series would be over and that I would have to say goodbye to them. But all good things must come to an end, and I really wanted to find out what happened to Georgina, so I finally broke down and read it.
The book opens with Georgina working in a mall as a Santa's elf of all things. Whenever I think of mall Santas I think of David Sedaris's "Santaland Diaries" and I can't help but laugh. Georgina is back together with Seth, yay! I've always been a fan of Seth and Georgina, imperfect as the relationship is. Seth is dealing with a family illness when Georgina gets a sudden transfer to Las Vegas. The timing and method of the transfer are suspicious though. Georgina starts to do a little investigating and discovers things are not as simple as they appear.
Georgina's friends are back from more crazy antics. Jermone has them participating in a bowling league which, apparently, holds a lot of prestige in the demon world. While not really necessary to the plot, it was pretty funny watching them bowl with their matching t-shirts.
There are no big surprises in this one. If you've read the series, you probably have your suspicions about how the story is going to go. Was the ending predictable? Yes. Did I enjoy it? Yes. Like I said, I have come to really love these characters and it's sad for me to see them go. I think fans of Georgina and Co. will find this to be a fitting and satisfying end to the series. At a signing recently, Mead said that she has considered writing some short stories from Jerome or Carter's point of view. I really hope that happens one day. Until then, I will just have to satisfy myself by reading the series over again. :)

Excellent wrap up to the series. I admit - Georgie got a little winey for me at times. I guess I would expect someone who has lived for hundreds (thousands?) of years to have their shit a little more together then she did. Really that is my only complaint for the series. Most excellent and I am already missing it.

Really Ms. Mead? Was this the best you could do for a series finale? The first half was downright boring, the middle was so predictable and cliché that the last half was just tedious to read because you knew exactly what was gonna happen.
Somehow Georgina lost what little personality she had. Being a centuries old creature of Hell, and making a point about how just being around demons will turn you into one, Georgine is amazingly angelic and bland. Nothing she does in this book is for herself - how the hell does that translate with her being a lesser immortal for 1500 years?!
Frankly I was bored all throughout and I will not be reading this series again.
