*Oh no. I wasn't vegan when I first read this so I didn't notice. Please don't bash the lifestyle. Plus, vegan cupcakes are delicious.

Read this series on a whim and if I was to view the entire series from a critic's point of view, it was, more or less, just junk food. There were definitely some d'awww moments and some characters, Roman and Carter aklsdjf, were just too great to not love <3 like, i knew! from the beginning that there was some ulterior motive to Carter staying there and all. such a great end when he reviewed why he was there in the first place. made me teared up a bit.

Spoileram i the only one that's annoyed at how maggie wasn't even mentioned in the last book? i mean.. i get it that they're no longer friends but it's just really, really sad. i feel like neither seth nor georgina even cared about how maggie is doing meh it's like she completely vanished

The final installment of the Georgina Kincaid series is an enjoyable and satisfying read. The ending was predictable, but I think it would be disappointing if it ended any other way. I was pleased that the main questions were resolved and felt a sense of closure with the end of Georgina’s story.

This time the story takes place at Christmas and our favorite succubus Georgina is working part-time as one of Santa’s elves at the mall. She and Seth are trying to make it work as a couple when she abruptly receives transfer instructions to move from Seattle to Las Vegas. It’s a dream job but the timing couldn’t be worse for Seth, as he can’t leave his brother’s family due to his sister in law’s cancer. Her friends think the timing of the transfer and the specifics are suspicious and help her get to the bottom of it.

All of Georgina’s friends are back and there is a fondue party, secret Santa drawing, and Jerome even enlists the gang to win a bowling tournament against his rival. The Christmas setting makes a nice backdrop to the story, and you’ll never guess who plays Santa! I’ve enjoyed this group of friends throughout the books and their humor that counteracts the sadness in Georgina’s life. And where else can you find a demon like Jerome who chooses to appear as a John Cusack look alike? Her friends really come through for her when she needs them.

This book ties up the loose ends very well and balances the storylines of Georgina’s contract, relationship, and Seth’s family illness. Even if you are not a fan of Georgina’s romantic choice, there is some gratifying character insight and redemption to be found in her circle of friends. Roman and Carter are standouts in particular. The action is weighted more heavily to the back half of the novel, but I still enjoyed the lighter moments with her friends and family in the first half.

I will miss this series but I’m satisfied with how it turned out. Though most fans will have predicted this series conclusion, the ending feels true and in keeping with the other books. I hope Mead will write another adult series in the future.

Great book very satisfying ending but a bit predictable in places. That said how ever the ultimate items that affect the big 'court' scene show a rather significant degree of plotting and fore thought on Richelle's part which I found impressive for what was her first series. It gives me hope that I might be able to some how get back to enjoying her Thorn queen series even after how much I disliked the last book.

The story did well to tie up loose ends from all other books and made a complete story. The characters showed growth and that sometimes those on the journey are more important then the journey itself. As far as the book by itself, it was predictable, but still enjoyable. A simple ending for an overall great series.

Can we get a Carter spin off pretty please?!

And Roman..you're so confusing! I'm so not sure how to feel when it comes to you ?

I wish
Spoiler you would be alive somehow and
we can get a Roman spin off as well.

loved how the whole series came together.

Ok, so where do I start?

First of all, it's the last book, gah I don't think I can deal :( This is one of the series that I have followed from the very start and have got the books within weeks of the release date.

The first half is a bit slow, most of the action is in the second part.

The way she got out of her contract was a bit predictable, the only other way would have been that there was an out clause within the original contract.

In this book I also realised how much I really dislike Jerome and how much I really love Carter especially when he dresses as Santa for the girl, aw I love those girls.

And I think I had guessed that Seth had always been with her, about 3 chapters before it happened, though not to the length and detail

Though I knew when George drew the draw and Yasmine was summoned to the court room that she was definitely going to be for the petition

I absolutely blubbed when Roman sacrificed himself to be George's lawyer and I even had my hopes up until then end, that maybe he was good enough to be kept on as a lawyer or something

I blubbed even more when Carter left and told George to move, though eventually everyone would have been transferred

But what I really want to know is where does this leave us now? I am not content in leaving this world Richelle has made, and the characters in it, what happens to Hugh and Peter and Cody? Cody obviously has to leave Peter at some point as he will (well should) outgrow his status as his "apprentice"

And where did Carter go? What is his next assignment?

Please please don't leave me hanging :(

though I saw everything coming it was good to see the end of the series and how it all turned out. this one wasn't as enthralling as the previous books but still worth the read to tie up the loose ends.

Wow, what an amazing series, I love Richelle Mead!!!!!! This was a great ending to this series, I have grown to really love these characters and am so sad to see them go. I did love the ending, I thought it was perfect! To those of you who haven't read these yet, I can't recommend them enough!!
