LOVED this one! I see a spin-off coming from this series, I just hope she does it!

Where to start. Well, for one, Georgina was wayyyy whinier than usual. Like, significantly. For another, she's over a millennium old, her selective naiveté wasn't cute in the least. And seemed to be more glaring in this book as well. It was easy to see why Jerome spent so much time being irked with her.

The recaps and repetition took up a lot of space and I spend considerable time skimming. I'm relieved to have finally gotten to the bottom of things so I can move the fuck on from the belaboring of the Seth & Georgina point, not to mention the same dream from like 300 books ago (Jesus H Christ). And what another reviewer called the clue-by-fours. I didn't find the ending satisfying but that might be because I was bored. And perhaps annoyed.

What a beautiful ending! Everything comes together in this spectacular finale! I am so happy with ever little wrapped up part of this series and I feel so satisfied. This would be a great series to re-read and pick apart from the beginning.

Before reading anyone hoping she ends up with Carter?? :P (genuinely though)

After reading
So surprise surprise she didn't end up with Carter...more's the pity. Not that I have anything against Seth, but well he ceased to be amazing after the whole Maddie incident (which is ancient history, I know, but STILL).
Overall, I would say this was a disappointing end to what was in my head one of the better urban fantasy series out there. I still remember the excitement of reading [b:Succubus Blues (Georgina Kincaid #1)|235718|Succubus Blues (Georgina Kincaid, #1) |Richelle Mead|http://photo.goodreads.com/books/1313721975s/235718.jpg|228316], the wit, the plot, everything was perfect. It didn't really pick up and when it came down to all the revelations, well there was no shock or suspense. I had literally predicted everything that would happen more or less due to the massive clue given to us in the previous book.

My favourite part of it all though was Carter, I adore that guy and I am currently sending a psychic link to Richelle Mead with the message "write a Carter story, come on!! COME ON!!"

Overall, a pretty bland story but its nice to have the story over and done with. *ticks box*.

It was an amazing book!!! Really a great ending of the series. Altough I'm really sad the series is over now :(

So this book overall could have been executed way better then it was but I still loved it overall! I love how her friends aided her and helped her become free! On a side note Carter is now added to my book boyfriend list!

The last book in the series

For those of you who haven't read the book here's how it is. Georgina has now finally got a good relationship with Seth going, but then she suddenly gets transferred to Las Vegas. Other unusual things start to happen and Georgina ends up questioning whether this transfer was a coincidence...

For those of you who haven't read the book this may contain spoilers

At the start I was thinking, last book of the series it's going to have a lot going on. And the transfer to Las Vegas, it was just. Hm, nice Georgina just got really lucky. But for her things seem to go downhill very quickly, and I don't know if I liked this or not.
Then when Andrea gets ill and we find out it's getting worse because of a demon, I started to have a real badass issue against hell. Though I don't hold a grudge so when she got better I was really quite relieved...

Okay seriously we have to talk about Seth's contract. For the last book or two everyone's been like "Georgina has a second contract!" But now we're like "What, Seth has a contract too!!!". The contract that contradicts Georginas.
This reincarnation thing is actually quite confusing. Like you're a different person but you're still the same person.
So when Seth's hypnotized he says he's Luc, I'm there thinking "No way!" Then when he goes back saying he;s Andrew and everyone I was just saying "No way!!" Each time (like each time you say it a bit louder type thing) And when they were asking who his first life was it was very likely it was going to be Kykarios. This was good but also very bad. But mostly unbelievable!

I kind of didn't want Georgina to become human again but it happens.
I give this book a 3.5 stars, but the series as a whole a 4.5 stars,

OK!!! That was so much better than I thought it would be! I admit, I went in with very low expectations - I skimmed the last book a bit (I’m not sure why I gave it 4 stars).

In my opinion this book made the entire series worthwhile. Not that I didn’t enjoy the other books, but I guess I am sucker for a good redemption story, and this was a good one.

I tried to write a summary, but I kept spoiling the book and the series – so I gave up. There were a lot of things I loved about the book and the series, I think the one I liked best was Carter’s role (an angel). Looking back, his purpose was very obvious, but hey, I guess I was a bit slow.

I thought about adding a quote from Carter’s last conversation with her, but then, that would have given the story as well. Anyway, for me, this entire series is a definite recommend because of the overall story arc.

Unrelated side note: This is sad. This is the first book I've read in 2012. Maybe this summer I'll find time to read more.

loved it! I figured out the end game about halfway through the series, but was not disappointed in how it was played out. After the downer that book 5 was, I was all too happy to embrace the happy ending of this one.
