Very cute, small town, single dad romance. Grumpy/sunshine at its finest. The small town quirkiness was done so well. I found all the characters to be well thought out and by the end of it, you just want to be a part of the little community.  The romance is sweet, and funny, the families are non-toxic, and the friendships seem genuine!

A fellow booklover posted a good review of this book on their page, so I decided to give it a try. While it was a quick, easy, feel-good read, I felt it lacked depth. I wanted more from Wren and Holden’s story and more from the secondary characters. I relished the book’s setting, a close-knit small town situated in the mountains. The depiction made me want to jump into the book and be there. I also enjoyed the witty banter and the grumpy single dad MMC. I love those tropes. However, as I said, there is no real depth to their story.

Copious amounts of cheese and cringe made me take a star off lol.

I really enjoyed this single dad trope enemies to lovers!! It was fast paced but not forced and just made me want to move to the woods in a cabin. The MMC was fairly misogynist, which was a bummer. I feel like in todays world we really should be able to write good make lead characters without putting forth this toxic male assholery that exists.

That being said, the fact that the FMC was so head strong and a DIY girly was kinda the great equalizer here. I enjoyed reading her development and strength!!

THE cutest single dad small town romance omg. grumpy sunshine, quirky fmc, loveable small town, forced-ish proximity (theyre neighbors and she has her mail sent to his house just so he has to talk to her) and an adorable little girl. highly recommend !!

I loved this book so much, Wren and Holden have the funniest banter and I really loved how their friendship grew. I do wish we had have heard more about what ended up happening with Mia and if Grey ended up finding someone.
This book is perfect for people who love romance but aren't keen on spicy scenes as this one really only has kissing scenes.
