Such a great read.
Absolutely adored the grumpy x sunshine dynamic between the characters and the plot surrounding them. The story was very well paced and I loved that it didn’t have unnecessary drama because they’re adults and they could communicate despite their struggles with their private lives.

Thank you to NetGalley, the publisher and the author for the advance reader copy in exchange of my honest opinion.

I loved this book. The tension between Wren and Holden but also knowing there is something more lurking there was so satisfying. I loved that there wasn’t any dragged out drama in several conflict points where it could have shown up. There is still conflict that needs resolution but I really liked the way the author handled all of it. The kisses are so swoony when they start and Holden is a mess over Wren. Her quirky spirit coupled with his gruff demeanor and a charming, if meddlesome, group of side characters made for a great read. Plus the added bonus of a North Carolina setting. I hope I see another coupling coming in this town - looking at you Finley and Grey!

Content Notes: Passionate kisses/makeouts
