adventurous emotional medium-paced

Good concept and generally a good story. However, the writing itself feels a little young. There are a lot of good ideas and beginnings of concepts that don’t go anywhere and the dialogue is a little awkward. Kind of gave wattpad writing at some parts.

I enjoy this one! Its so fairly tale-esque that makes it more a fun read! Its a Bone House meets Wildwood on the enchanted forest world. The adventure is great the twist makes it more interesting. The characters are lovable, Cerys and Fox they are adorable. Its meet cute kinda story i may say. I love it!

i think i wanted a lot more from this book and it would be well suited to a series <3 but despite all this i did really love what it gave us, and i loved the setting, world and chemistry. i just wanted MORE!!

I’ve recently started turning away from YA fiction but this was a pleasant surprise. I wasn’t a huge fan of the audio narration because the voices and dialogue got a bit annoying and repetitive. I liked that the author chose to add some darker elements which made it more enjoyable for me, but I would’ve liked if the author had explored some of the creatures a bit more. It’s labeled a retelling, but I’m honestly not sure what it is a retelling of. Each of the characters had a lot of growth, but the romance was a little bit odd. I enjoyed the world building and would’ve liked to see it expanded on. Not the best retelling, but a creative and enjoyable one.
