I strongly recommend reading the original edition if you get the chance. The 2002 re-issue makes a number of changes, and regrettably not for the better in some cases.

Hilarious and perfect. This was the first book I ever read to a class during my teacher training. It worked a treat. Sister Isobel And The Zoo and Sister Stephanie And The Gang were probably my favourites. Doug MacLeod’s poems are wonderful and Craig Smith’s illustrations are just superb.
