This book was confusing. There were moments I liked but overall, I was really confused. I was honestly expecting Nurse Rachett to be more “evil” because that’s what she’s known for but I didn’t quite see it. She just seemed like she wanted to be in charge and take control of her ward of mentally ill people. A lot of the plot, especially Chief Bromely’s memories and rambling we’re especially confusing. Overall, not a terrible book but I’m still really confused.

Better when you analyze characters and possible symbolism.

ah, yes! the source of all problems in society is... women! women oppress men! not the other way around! women oppress men and men need to use sexual violence to reclaim their rightful place at the top of the food chain, only then will society flourish!!!

(if you can't tell, that was sarcasm.)
