The ending of this book read like a bad soap opera. There were way too many plot twists and, I’m sorry, but I’m so done with the secret twin twist. The beginning and middle of this book were excruciatingly slow, and only like one thing happened during the first 200 pages. I only stuck with it because the whole time as currency seemed interesting. This just wasn’t for me. 2.75⭐️

i wasnt sure about this book after reading a number of negative reviews but im so glad i didnt listen. i thought this concept was so unique and that is what drew me to this book. i got through this book in one sitting!! the world building was insane and the character development was beautiful to watch. the only thing that bothered me was how long jules took to figure everything out…but i can also see that that is what keeps the book moving.
