I was eager to read but it's a bit older of a book and over 900 pages. Since I borrowed it from the library I got a little intimidated about my capacity to read it in time to return it, so I might leave this read for now and wait until I have more opportunity to get my own copy of the first earthsea book

LeGuin had a deep understanding of the world. So much more of the people, history, and events of Earthsea make sense to me in the light of my life experiences since I read and loved these books the first time several years ago. I can't wait to read them again in a few years and see what new discoveries I make.

Meanwhile, I can aspire to become as good a writer and a human being as LeGuin was. If I only make it halfway there, I'll be overjoyed.

It was good in the beginning but I just got bored of it. The premise is nice and very lord of the rings like and easier to read than lord of the rings but I just can't continue.
