I'm not crying, it's just allergies!! Jk jk, in all seriousness I was not expecting to enjoy this last book as much as I did, especially because of how mixed the second one was for me, let alone be crying because of that ending.
This was an absolute fucking rollercoaster, the entire series was to be honest, with so much drama, bullshit, heartache, and romance. We'll Always Have The Summer actually made me believe that Belly could be happy, and have a healthy relationship with a Fisher boy, by not only having a lot of character growth for Conrad, but also showing how good Jeremiah can be as a boyfriend to Belly. They had believable chemistry, a bond that didn't just feel friendly anymore. And somehow Conraf actually had me rooting for his happiness, rather than plotting his murder (he really was insufferable in book 2). Best of all though, Belly felt better as a character. Not always bogged down by a childhood obsession, she felt like a stronger and more mature person.
There are some things that I didn't love though. Mainly the fact that Jeremiah cheated on Belly. It left such a sour taste in my mouth towards him. I still like him a lot, and everyone is bound to make mistakes, but it definitely made me question whether or not he's as good of a guy as I thought. And Belly forgiving his so quickly was also a bit off, though I suppose that could be her own guilt doing some of the legwork. I do appreciate the added drama of it though, very soap opera-esque.
The best part was probably A) seeing Conrad's perspective here and there, it gave us a better insight into him (which is saying a lot since I prefer single POV books), and B) the letters that Conrad wrote Belly. They tore me up, and made my heart melt.
I can't wait to finally watch the series properly now, and for season 3 to release (hopefully next summer!). I've only seen two episodes, and was worried about spoilers for future plotlines popping up (like in the Shadow and Bone series). The cast is interesting, I really like the actor cast to portray Belly.

None of this made any sense and there was no proper ending it just cut off again and honestly I don't know what the hell I just read, none of these people seem nice enough to want to marry them.
