3.5 stars!

This is my first time reading percy jackson, unlike most people I didn’t grow up with it. That being said, there’s no nostalgia factor for me and I’m looking at it with a more critical eye, so take this review with a grain of salt.

I love percy’s character, he’s easy to root for and super witty. I’m soooo excited for him & annabeth to get their little romance arc. I didn’t love this book as much as the first one, it felt a little too formulaic for me but I still get the hype! Excited to read 3-5!
