Not sure how to review this without spoilers.... 1/4 through the book i was surprised, scared, excited. It didn't last unfortunately and was a bit confusing leading to an unsatisfactory ending.
I’ve enjoyed several books by Maggie O’Farrell but was underwhelmed by this one. The plot is odd and meandering. The characters lacked the depth required for me to care about their situations.
As an aside, I’m disappointed this book was on display at my local book store as a new release, when it is just a reprint.
