I thought this book was going to be about a group of women as a whole trying to figure out what happened with David's disappearance but it wasn't exactly that. The women that are mentioned in the description are strangers and for the most part and we see things from their perspectives of the past and the present, jumping the timeline along the way. There were a few twists the author tried tossing in but I didn't find them all too shocking and I feel as though overall, the ending was good and some justice was served, but not all. It was very slow moving as well and wasn't that thrilling or captivating. It's good if you want something to pass the time with.

5 Addictive Stars!
Wow, this one sure kept me guessing. Clever, original, and well-executed, I read it over a day, frantically turning the pages, desperate to know how it ended. A quick read, that flowed well, with short chapters, and few POV’s. 75% in and I was still clueless as to how the characters were all connected. I had my theories but couldn’t quite get them to all fit together. And those twists – just when you think you know everything there is to know there’s more – and then more. The first couple of chapters in Vicki’s POV were a little slow – although if you’re really into aromatherapy you’ll probably enjoy them – hee.
This is Jane Corry’s third novel, and her previous two novels were also 5-star reads for me. She’s the Queen of the psychological thriller in my book. I dare you to pick up this book, and see if you can figure it out.

I need some time to write the review for this book, because my head is buzzing right now. What a twisted thriller piece !

The overall storyline was great and original, it was also nice to read from two characters POV. However, I didn’t find Vicki‘s character likeable and felt as though Scarlet’s chapters had more voices to it. Seeing as though Vicki is the main character, it made it hard to connect and I wasn’t too fussed about the ending because of it. I also think the build up had an anti-climax and could have been executed rather than ‘well here’s the ending’

What was that? I am dissapointed. It was really confusing, often annoying bc there were too many things going on and you didn't get clues and the answers and big reveals were a dissapointment too ,the soultions and answers felt rushed, not smart enough. Plus,it kept going on way too long.

I think the blurb I read on this couldn’t have prepared me for what was going to happen as it took a completely different direction than I was expecting!
I liked the aspect of an unreliable narrator as it was used in a way I haven’t read before which I enjoyed. I liked the dual storylines, however I didn’t enjoy that it was a long while into the book that it became apparent why the storylines were both being told.
I also found that, while the story was being told in an engaging way, it fell a little flat once all had been revealed at the end and it didn’t quite grip me as much as it could have.
A decent read, just not my favourite
