I really got into this collection that tied into the end of Season 5 and the beginning of Season 6 - the stories were more interesting and varied. Faith and Angel guest appearances were great.

But did anything ever come of Chaos Bleeds?? Was that going somewhere? I‰ЫЄm curious.

Don‰ЫЄt miss this if you‰ЫЄre a Buffy fan.

Not bad. Some weird stuff (Pike? Really?), and some of the weakness of season 6 without the character-driven strengths. But not bad.

I mean, mostly I was relieved to finally have this book after waiting for years to get my hands on it. Like all the other BTVS omnibuses, it had a similar composition of hit/miss comics. I really like the ones that add to the existing canon rather than just random offshoots featuring the same characters but no relevance to the plot. The last comic was cool, just because of all the cameos they're able to pull off in comic book form that couldn't happen on the show due to actor scheduling conflicts. Season six is my favorite of the series, so this was an especially anticipated read.

Does anyone know if there will be an eight omnibus?

This was a perfect end to the Buffy omnibus series! Every comic had a clear place in time, making it easy to tell from just one or two text bubbles where in each season an arc took place. The stories were also just more enjoyable than some of the ones in earlier books, and each one felt essential to the collection. I also really appreciated having the series end on an arc that Angel, Faith, and even Pike appeared in! Definitely one of my favorite, if not my favorite, Buffy comic collections.
