I read a ton of mixed reviews on this book. But hear me put! If you like a slow burn, summer themed book which gets kinda smutty but not all that much. This is the book for you!

Beautifully written. Actually cried during one particular part. But you'll have to read it yourself to find out which part (wink).

I listened to the audiobook as always the last few years and listened to it in less than two days. I enjoyed this more more and more as it progressed. I enjoyed the two main characters chemistry and banter and vulnerability. I think overall what I liked most is that it’s about imperfect people, who are broken in their own ways (as we all are), and who have good and bad moments/days/months/years. I felt it was about life being full of choices and moments and no one gets it right all the time, but we keep on going. Stories begin and stories end, but then we turn the page and a new chapter starts. There is no event so bad that it can permanently break us from continuing forward if we have the courage to do so, and eventually finding and building new and unexpected beautiful moments.
