I perch on the concrete in so many hues of brown overheated, 
watching him dance

in white linen sweatpants and bare chest with birth
and death in his movements.

Citron, figs, and papaya on his tongue. He rattles and pumps.
My organs shift and swing

toward the sun, a black orchid, singing.
