If you're expecting something dramatic or even a story that'll keep you glued to your seat, you won't find it here. But that's not a bad thing. This is an atmospheric slice-of-life novel about people in a town in southern Japan. It's a calming, soothing read. Each chapter is dedicated to a different person and their lives are somehow intertwined.

Perfect for summer! What more can you ask for with a mother with an ambition to publish manga and a son that misunderstands her, right by the beach, all surrounding a convenience store? Easy breezy and a perfect way to stay cool for summer. Dozed off a bit here and there, but seeing the cover every time I opened the book up made me take pleasure in musicless walks, people-watching in pockets of waiting, and appreciating a breeze, far and few in between, but fully appreciated.

It’s Perfect Days for the layperson and I'm here for that!

This is cute but very slow-paced. Each chapter focuses on a different person and shows how they’re connected to the convenience store. It wasn’t bad by any means, just not what I was in the mood for.

I knew better than to pick this up and still did it 😂 it’s a genre I really don’t get along with but the covers always make me want to read them 🤪 you will enjoy this if you like self help fiction.
