this is my work friend’s favourite comfort book, and she was kind enough to lend it to me! it’s very different from my usual reads, and i enjoyed the way the chapters interconnected

p8: i would have been inclined to say the prologue was a childhood flashback, but this book’s owner says each chapter covers different characters, so it’s probably just about a random girl

Another lovely slice of life book, where all the characters have their own chapters and it all comes together at the end.

The book refers to the characters by their first and/or last names depending on who is talking, so it can get a little confusing. I wish I'd written the names down and then I'd have spotted some connections sooner!

This book actually romanticizes "good looks is everything". The perks of being good looking or beutiful. You will be loved by everyone without trying or asking for it. It may not be the main focus, but its there underlying in every stories.

This book is just incredibly sweet. In each chapter you see how the store and customers connect in different ways. The book feels like a warm hug, not fast paced but I still wanted to know what happened next. I loved it, highly recommend!! ☀️
