Shame, had high hope for this one. Started so good but later, I’m no longer invested. First of all I really hate Eden. I don’t know why but the way she acted and talked really annoyed me.

Forgive me father
FMC - Eden. She was definitely far sassier than I thought she’d be. Had me laughing out loud.
MC - Roman. Love a bloodlusty priest. Makes me want to go to church.
End of chapter four - verbatim from my mouth.
‘Holy fucking shit, this book is going to kill me’
The desire was quick to occur but the characters are older and the trauma belies traditional relationship ‘foreplay’.
The air is constantly buzzing with desire and for me it was so well written I was biting my lip and gasping a few times.
The heavier themes drag you back to reality and boy are they heavy. Check your trigger warnings readers.
Aidan’s storyline is gutting and well written.
The book started to lose traction about half way through.
The bonfire scene was… I pretended she’d known Luca longer than 20 minutes and it wasn’t so strange.
Not abiding by her safe word was gross after begging her to choose one.
The ending was a suspension of belief but it wasn’t bad. I needed way more from the epilogue though.
Not sure about the AI art throughout either. It changed all the way through and was confusing. I’m big on imagination so having the characters projected constantly was off putting for me.
Overall it was a good read. Some great spice and twists. But some storylines are confusing.

Have you ever fantasized about Sierra Simone writing a book where Father Bell goes DARK.....Well, Katerina St Clair said, "Hold my wine glass and watch me work." Meet Father Briar. Forgive Me Father is sin incarnate. I wanted to simultaneously blow through this book and savor it slowly.

This book had me hooked from the very beginning! Catholic small town full of corruption. Hot new priest. Broken and struggling fmc. Family trauma. Secrets. I mean what's not to love when you put all that together?

WOW, this book was such a highly anticipated read for me and it did NOT disappoint!!
In this story, we follow our FMC, Eden Faulkner, as she comes back home from college suddenly and attends Sunday mass with her “picture perfect” family. As she attends, the new priest is introduced. Father Roman Friar is a handsome, 6’4’’, tatted, and mysterious man. As Eden and Roman start getting to know each other, a forbidden romance begins and lines start to blur.
This is my first priest romance and it was everything. This book was the perfect amount of spice, plot, and action. It was definitely darker than I thought but it came together seamlessly. I cannot wait to see what else comes from this universe.
