3 ⭐️ for The Brothers Hawthorne.

I didn’t enjoy this one as much as the previous three from Barnes, but it was still a good read. I feel like I would have enjoyed it more if the book was split into part an and part b - one being for Jameson, and one for Grayson, rather than alternating every few chapters. This would make it easier for my mind to follow every detail. Overall, a good storyline filled with games and riddles as usual. Throw in a few twists along the way or it wouldn’t be quite be what we’ve come to know and love from this author.

I thought this was a good edition to the inheritance games series. I really liked the different perspectives and loved getting more on Grayson. Will be continuing the series when more is released.

this is one of those books that you are so excited to read it that you dread doing it… but I faced my demons and I picked it up and I'm so glad I did!
let me be the first to say that I was a little bit disappointed and that it didn't match the previous trilogy vibes (at least for me), but I loved it so much anyway and it delivered so much!! I'm really excited to see what comes next and what more these new characters have for us.
I felt this one was a bit more mystery/thriller than the previous ones, which were more adventurous/enigmatic. it took me a little bit to get into it and come to terms with the change in the tone, but once I got into it I really enjoyed it.
the constant jumping around between Jameson's and Grayson's plotline also took a bit out of the story, I would feel my rythm break and if I was reading the one I was less excited about I would be bored and a bit distracted, thinking about the other.
the story itself was very engaging, it kept me turning the page and the ending left a pretty good path for what's coming next…
