This series is fine but a little boring, explaining too much about the artistic process. I suppose it might be more interesting to someone considering creating art but that's about it really. Nothing bad though.

While volumes 1 and 2 were both good, this one is noticeably better. I really enjoyed this volume a lot. The expressions and emotion in this series are just so good, and the color pages really add to it as well.

I would reread this again if I ever need a reminder why technique is important and considered a tool and what's the point of it.  I keep learning and relearning something about myself in every volume. Damn.

Blue period takes all the thoughts I’ve had about art and making things and puts them into a form that is really relatable and comforting to me as an artist. Also I love all the characters!!
