Honestly, meh. I was pretty bored through most of it. I thought the performance was fine. I liked the ending and outcome, but would not call this a thriller at all.

If you can hang on to Chapter 33… your mind will be blown. It’s easy to get caught up in and frustrated with Claire’s crazy immature tantrums but the end is not be be missed.

This book was such a good thriller! It had me questioning what was happening as the characters were questioning what was happening to them! This one gets in your head and you just cannot put it down.
I did not see the ending coming at all!

main character is insufferable, but she’s supposed to be. sometimes it was too much though. i thought i knew all the twists but i was wrong, definitely surprised. rushed ending, wrapped up a little too neatly

Loved the narration. Great first-person POV. It made the story pop.

I don't know if books in general are getting more predicable or if I'm just impossible to surprise nowadays, but I saw the twist coming and I wasn't impressed at all. I did enjoy the book anyway, though. It was predicable but still a page turner and I liked most of it until the end. Which was terrible. The ending was so bad I could barely stand it, but since it had me fairly interested until then I'll give it an extra star.
