It's pretty interesting when you are reading an Alice and Wonderland retelling and this listening to this book as well. Definitely got some vibes from these two books.

The Hike was a pretty fun adventure book to dive into. Especially since I'm currently reading a book about Alice. The twists and turns were somewhat weird but also addicting at the same time. I honestly had no idea what was going to come my way. Heck, even Ben's way.

Besides getting some Alice vibes, I also got some Stephen King vibes. I've only read a handful of his books but this one just kind of followed the same path. Some things were a bit predictable but I flew through this book and all it's pages.

In the end, it kept me on my toes somewhat and I enjoyed the heck out of it.
