This was a charming and sweet Christmas story to listen to while wrapping presents. The story of The Wedding Dress is so cute.

The perfect darling little Christmas romance. I love Rachel Hauck's style and the characters that I actually want to be friends with. She writes books I just plain enjoy. I would prefer for the characters to find healing in a Person rather than an inanimate object, but for an inspirational Christmas read, Hauck nailed it.

The Wedding Dress Christmas -- I keep saying that I'm gonna stop reading Christmas books, and then the blurb looks all shiny and happy and full of squish. So here we are in October with me reading Christmas novels again! So this one is absolutely adorable!!!! Buck and Jo are something out of a Hallmark Country Christmas Channel special! Enjoy this wonderful holiday miracle about how God really is our Immanuel (God with us)! Happy Reading!

What a sweet story! I loved this return visit to Hearts Bend and The Wedding Shop. JoJo and Buck were best friends in high school, and each secretly cared for the other. Their lives took them in different directions, but when they reunite in Hearts Bend at Christmas, sparks immediately fly!

This novella reads like a Hallmark Christmas movie (with a compelling spiritual component added), and I'd love to see it made into one! A couple plot points moved a little too rapidly for my taste, but otherwise, I adored this sweet novella. 4 stars.

Note: You do not need to have read the other Wedding Collection books to read this novella, but if you have read them, you'll enjoy seeing some old friends in these pages.

Disclosure of material connection: I received this book from the author. I was not required to write a positive review, and the opinions expressed are my own.

A sweet small town Christmas romance. A novella of hope.

“Let go, Jo. Replace all your fears with love.”

JoJo Castle has loved Buck Matthews since they were in high school. Trauma from a past experience has rooted her heart with fear and is preventing her from letting herself be happy with the man that she loves. Buck Matthews has always loved JoJo but it took him a long time to realize it. Can they get past the obstacles in their way and finally be together?

The magic/mystery of the historic wedding dress from Hauck's previous books in the series has returned to reunite two deserving people and offers a Christmas miracle and a message of faith.

Thank you NetGalley for a review copy of this book.

This is the novella that follows the Wedding Collection series (Christian Fiction Romance series). I finished reading that series in 2016 and I loved returning to this small town. I enjoyed getting to revisit this magical dress and some of the characters we got to know from The Wedding Shop. I can’t say too much without spoiling it, but if you’ve read the rest of the books you won’t want to miss this Christmas addition! If you like small town romances, Christian fiction, and a magical dress that connects through history, start with The Wedding Dress and work you’re way to this one! You won’t be disappointed!

I requested The Wedding Dress Christmas by Rachel Hauck and it was such a delightful warm and cozy read. It was set at Christmas, but that shouldn’t stop you from reading it any time of year. I didn’t get around to reading my copy until February and the magic wasn’t missing just because it’s a holiday-read.

The Wedding Dress Christmas follows the saga of one remarkable dress. (Hint: If you haven’t read any of the titles in this series, you’re missing out. Go pick up The Wedding Dress at the least.) This particular title is easy to read as a stand alone – you won’t get lost – but it’s all the sweeter when you know the history of the dress.

Written with the classic charm that Hauck brings to each of her novels, you’ll be enchanted by the small-town charm. The characters are damaged and flawed, but relatable and strong. They grow and change and reconnect. This is a magical, romantic tale that will warm your hearts no matter the season.

I received a complimentary copy of this title via NetGalley. All opinions expressed are my own .
