This was a very long part 1 of a 3 book series. Basically this was Wheel of Time condensed.
I won't move on to the next 2. Not because it was badly written or boring, but these time commitments from these massive world bulding novels are too much for me!

This is a hard book to rate. I picked it up because I loved Will of the Many and needed something to hold me over until the next book comes out. It took me *so* long to read for many reasons, but every time I convinced myself to pick up the book I enjoyed it! Especially the last 200 pages or so. I’ll probably read the second book but need a break from the mental energy it requires.

Really liked this book. Was nice and long with some new ideas at play. At times was difficult to follow with such a large cast of characters. Leaves you waiting for more. Recommend for anyone who liked WOT.
