5 of of 5 stars!!! Braden and Sierra are EVERYTHING! I love their relationship. Spoilers ahead:

I hated the 3rd act breakup at the end of Book #1, but we didn't have to wallow in sadness with them for too long. Right at the beginning, Braden went to Toronto to get the girl, and luckily she forgave him. Usually I was the men to grovel and the women make them jump through hoops after hurting them (especially after how Braden did her in the club MEANIE) but this time I was happy she forgave him pretty quickly. They were just so in love and needed each other. This story included the pregnancy trope and we were given a hint when she mentioned her weight in the beginning, but of course as soon as she started vomiting randomly, of course she's pregnant!! All I kept thinking about was that she had been drinking those first 6 weeks so good luck to that baby. Braden became the best man he could be when he moved to Toronto, and proved himself even more when they found out she was pregnant. He truly had potential of being a crappy partner after how he acted in Book #1, but he really flipped the script and became the man every woman wants in a partner. I loved that we actually got to go through the pregnancy with them. Typically they always get pregnant at the end and then we skip forward to right as they give birth or after the baby is born. A lot happens during pregnancies and I think authors should explore that more and include the journey in the story. Overall I loved this and will be purchasing!

I wish I had read this as one book instead of two but it was important for the progression of these series. You really do have to follow Hannah Cowan’s reading order, otherwise these books won’t make any sense.

Sophie transforms from a platinum blonde in the first book of the series to a Hispanic brunette in the second book. The author does not pay attention to details from one book to another at all. This book wasn’t necessary, there was no climax or storyline.

I am obsessed with Braden and Sierra! They were a couple who just had the hottest chemistry right off the bat! I loved every minute of them together!

Sierra was such a firecracker and full of sass and I adore her! She is so complex and relatable! She had her flaws but I really enjoyed seeing Braden fall in love with her because of them. She truly grew so much between the two books. Braden was such a delicious treat in the second book. He became so mature and supportive of Sierra. He really did become such a wonderful man and you will fall head over heels for him.

Like all of Hannah’s books the spice was top notch! I just want to keep coming back for more! I'm addicted to her writing and the journey her characters go through. This Duet was flippin fantastic and I could not put it down!
