The premise was really interesting. The idea of being able to go to a library and read a book about what your life would have been like if you had made different decisions was intriguing.
I did enjoy the book, it was a fast paced and easy read. That said, I can see why others might not have enjoyed it. I think perhaps if the book had been longer, it could have been fleshed out more. I did feel that certain parts were rushed and could have benefited from more back story and more writing. But that being said, it was a fine book and I don’t regret having read it.

La trama parece chula pero es muy lenta y no acabas de empatizar. El final es mejorable.

Beberapa review dari aku :
1. Buku ini menceritakan tokoh utama yg mau suicide dan akhirnya ga jadi karena ingin mencoba bertahan hidup melalui buku-buku yang ada di perpustakaan.
2. Isi buku yang gampang dicerna sehingga sangat menarik untuk dibaca.
3. Saat baca buku yang ada di perpustakaan, ternyata takdir berhubungan sama keputusan yang diambil, sekecil apapun itu akan membawa ke jalan yang berbeda. Jadi sebaiknya keputusan diambil secara matang.
4. Waktu baca buku ini, jadi mikir "wah ternyata memang takdir yang kita punya sebanyak itu, jadi ada banyak pilihan setiap ada kesempatan." Tapi balik lagi sesuai dengan kehendak Allah SWT kasih ya ternyata memang itu terbaik buat kita.

Buku ini menceritakan tokoh utama yg bernama Nora. Nora yg berkeinginan untuk mengakhiri hidupnya, namun setelah dipertimbangkan lagi Nora jadi bersikeras untuk mencoba bertahan hidup karena bertemu dengan buku-buku yang ada di perpustakaan.
Tahun kemarin udah pernah baca buku ini. Jadi ini yg kedua kalinya re-read The Midnight Library. Terus aku suka buku ini karena isi bukunya gampang dicerna dan menurutku ringan banget

Such a great concept, love books like this.
When it comes to my favourite books I find it hard to write reviews, I just feel like recommending it as much as possible and not spoiling what unfolds.
The third quarter dragged slightly, but there was so much attention to detail it felt like a wise old mage had written it.
This books taught me things as well as re-affirmed some of my own thoughts and feelings.
Also, it was so easy to read! Ultra easy read.
