What a fantastic story. The chapters alternate between the characters providing interesting insight into how one situation can be viewed in TWO completely different ways. The characters, Bryce & Julianna, ring true with there word choice, focus & style.

Absolutely delightful!

This was a really fun read. For once, I didn't read anything horrendously "drama-filled" which made for a light read. I must have read this book in about... 3.5 hours. The smart, good at everything girl: Juli, falls head over heals for gorgeous dark haired, blue eyed Bryce. Meanwhile, he's pretty much freaked out by this girl. They're both seven at the time. The story then narrates in alternate points of view an in a way gives us both "sides" of the story. It's really cute how they're both just trying to battle with their emotions and don't know what to do around each other. I liked how most of the characters were developed, but not overly developed. After all, the story is about both of them, not everyone else. The story DID focus on other aspects, which I appreciate, because sometimes stories shouldn't just focus on one particular theme. 4 stars.

This book was amazingly written. I could not put it down. The characters are so fleshed out throughout the book and you start looking for the people that you can recognize and bond with. The story almost morphs into your own. You are left with wanting more, but in a way it is a beautiful ending and you write it yourself. I would love to forget I've read this just so I could read it again.

I wanted to like this book. I wanted to like it so badly. But you see the problem is , it was too slow for me. I mean, it was a nice premise and all. This girl named Juli is in love with this guy named Bryce. The first time she sees him she "flips" (Thus, the title). But Bryce doesn't like her and the ultimate struggle is their feelings and it's told from both their points of views alternatingly(not a word). But ultimately...I don't think the execution was played out very well and I was kind of disappointed with the ending. I've heard how many people liked it but i just...I don't know....it wasn't the best. It took entirely too long to read and I'm kind of just glad I finished it.

Oh yeah, I heard there was a movie based off of this book, set in old times. Which makes sense since it seemed that way in the book anyway despite the fact that I think it's set in modern times. Anyway, maybe I'll watch the movie and maybe that will make me like the book better. Maybe not though since I also heard it god bad reviews. :O
