This book will always be one of my favorites. I always re-read it and it never gets old. It made me cry, laugh, smile, angry, happy etc. I think every teenager should read this book. I am now 22 and I will never forget how it made me feel.

This all started with Grandmother Willow, the sycamore tree in Pocahontas.

So we were singing Colors of the wind and the Sycamore tree from Flipped was opened up, the movie, that is. I've known about this book for a time now and I didn't pay it too much attention. Well, duh, I should have had!

This is actually a quick and lite read, nearly just 24 hours in between work, cooking, taking care of my little dragon and eating, Juli was so cute I wish Kaleb would be like that, and at 12 years old! Oh my, the has a lot to say and does a lot, I would say this is because of her up bringing, she's sensitive but not on how people would see her.

I almost forgot how much I love Young Adult. And this book reminded me of how wonderful being young was.

Not "romantic" by any stretch of the imagination, but an excellent story of change and character development. Juliana Baker is the absolute best thing about this book. She is fierce, she is beautiful, she is iridescent. Who wouldn't want to be better for her?

10/10. My favourite coming-of-age / romance story. I can reread it a thousand times and not get bored.

3.5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️. I’ve watched the movie first and three times, honestly such a sweet story. Loved the book, loved remembering the movie scenes through the book, and I love the themes in this book, it’s so much more than the childhood friends to being maybe something more

This was A-DOR-ABLLLLLLLLE!

It was back and forth with HIS side of the story and then HER view of things and I loved how it was done. Super cute. Classic: girl likes boy, girl annoys boy, girl gets over boy, girl starts ignoring boy, boy decides he likes girl. Definitely worth checking out for a light read. Lots of good family values type stuff. 💜

"Some of us get dipped in flat, some in satin, some in gloss... but every once in a while you find someone who's iridescent, and when you do, nothing will ever compare"

Now this is how you write a young adult novel!

I first watched the film adaptation and fell so deeply in love with it, so I have high expectations on the novel—manifesting that it is as good, turns out it was even greater. Having already seen the movie, I have already a good visualization or imagery of the events happening in the book, though I must say that even if you haven't seen yet the film adaptation, you will still able to follow the story easily.

This is more than just a story about silly childhood crushes; it talks about friendships, family ties and bonds, outgrowing prejudices and stereotypes.

Light-hearted, swooning, and radiant. Flipped effortlessly made its way to my favorites. I will surely read this one again and again and again, similar to how many times I've watched the movie.
