The annotations by Sharon Lechter are pointless and quite irritating. Napoleon Hill’s writing could have stood alone, in my opinion. There are a lot of similarities in the things that were occurring during the 1930’s when this was written and today’s times. I definitely recommend the book, just know the annotations do not add any more to the book.
I thought some of the principles in the book were good! but they were kind of buried/lost on me with the weird delivery.
update: I just had a book club meeting about the book. it made me like it a lot more. People helped my see it less literally and more like an interesting thought experiment.

Оценката ми на тази книга е много субективна, тъй като съм чела доста подобен род книги и съм пренаситена. Основното, което забелязвам при тях обаче е, че има безброй повторения. В общия случай могат да се сведат до една статия, вместо да заемат обема на цяла книга.
Наполеон Хил обаче е основоположник в този жанр и, ако някой, който не е чел книги за личностно развитие, ми поиска препоръка, със сигурност бих му казала да прочете него вместо много други, които черпят идеите и посланията си именно от Хил.
От неговите книги предпочитам "Мисли и забогатявай" заради по-практичната ѝ насоченост.
В общи линии тук става въпрос за осакатяващата сила на религията, образованието и консуматорството, както и на това да се носиш по течението без ясна посока и цел. Посланията са хубави особено за хора, които тепърва се изграждат като личности. Повествованието е поднесено под формата на разговор интервю с Дявола, което за времето си е било шокиращ и дързък подход да напишеш книга. Може би именно заради това самият Наполеон Хил не посмява да я издаде. Това обаче е направено години след смъртта му, когато уж свободата на словото е по-обширна. Иначе е написана в началото на 20-ти век.

Reading the book is one thing but when you hear the audio version your mind is just taken to a whole different level.
Being a drifter is a choice of mind and once you know where you stand the level at which your mind can excel to is unlimited.
All resources to exceed our full potential is available everywhere, it is a matter of want and desire.
The control of our emotions is a must and will be the out most important factor in determining how far our minds are able to intake.
Knowledge is great but Wisdom is far greater.
Experience comes with Wisdom.

It’s a book that glorifies the Devil and replaces God as the “universe” it is not a spiritual book as it tries to act in the beginning. It’s really a twisted up mixed up beliefs. I would never read a book that talks bout how powerful the devil is rather than how much more powerful the Father Yahweh is. I didn’t glance at the ending so I knew I didn’t miss some big revelation. There is none.
