Twist after twist! Some parts I could barely read because it was so graphic and disturbing. It had me on the edge of my seat from the first page. I loved the ending and it was just absolutely perfect. Seeing the evolution of the bond between Jay and Darby was so sweet.

I read this book in one day, it was a great quick thriller that kept me entertained on my flight. This was my first Taylor Adams book and I enjoyed his writing style and sense of humor. I'll probably pick up more of his books and watch the movie adaption of No Exit.

The characters were likeable, even the kidnapper (
Ashley
) because they were quite funny. Also, children are usually so stupid in books/movies, but the child who was kidnapped was helpful and didn't cause more trouble.

So much happened in this book, there wasn't even enough time to predict how it would turn out. One of the "plot twists" in the beginning was obvious, but it was given to us/obvious on purpose. I don't think you should go into this book expecting a whodunit mystery,  just a lot of suspense and thrills. The book is also pretty gory, but I don't mind gore and thought it added to the escalation of the story.

This was probably one of my favorite thrillers, definitely entertaining and bingeworthy.

A very gripping read! It was hard to put down, so I read it very quickly! There is graphic animal cruelty that was upsetting, and didn’t add to the story so it gets points knocked for that, and the ending got a bit far fetched, but was still enjoyable
