I wanted to like this a lot because it is so so hyped and I've really enjoyed listening to Glennon on different podcasts and such, but this book had just a bit too much about being a mother, and being a Christian, which are two things I am not, for me to give it more than 3 stars.

I really appreciate Doyle’s candor and authenticity. Not everything rang true for me, but enough did that I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this book, after all, as she writes, we all have our own unique ways of knowing. Find what feels right and true for you and leave the rest.

Es un libro que se siente como un espejo que confronta pero a la vez como un apapacho. Habla de temas importantes como lo es la sexualidad, el autodescubrimiento, el Amor, maternar, la familia, romper con roles, etc. Creí que todo se iba a centrar en la historia de Glennon descubriendo su orientación sexual pero al final eso es solo un ejemplo de todas las imposiciones que tenemos como seres humanos y sobretodo como mujeres. Son escritos inspiradores, graciosos, reflexivos y que, al menos en lo personal, me llevaron a cuestionarme cuál es la vida más hermosa que puedo imaginarme. Ampliamente recomendado.
