This is a very cute Christmas romance, set in the Lake District. The Lake District has a special place in my heart being the site of holidays and my own engagement. The atmosphere was spot on, and I could picture being back there. The feelings left over from being exes also felt realistic - both positive and negative, and suitably complex. I really enjoyed this. Thank you to netgalley for the arc.

A lovely read, all about new relationships, old flames, reuniting lovers and family.
Freya has had her ups and downs with regards to her love life, but when old flame and once time fiance Travis, moves back to town, it throws her into a spin.
I love the beautiful, flawed characters and the theme that family can overcome obstacles if they stick together. The secondary characters were funny and supportive.
A beautiful and festive read that I finished in no time at all. You always know that you'll be tugging at the heartstrings and getting the feels when you pick up a Phillipa Ashley book!
Thanks to Netgalley and the author and publisher for a temporary copy in exchange for an honest review.
