This was a nice allegory for the experience of migration, however, I feel as though a lot of it went over my head given my limited experience in that sphere. It was an interesting view into an (albeit fantasy) world of isolation and struggle when people migrate to new places.

Nice allegories and beautiful artwork. My only qualm with it was that dark text was sometimes put against a dark background which made it almost impossible to read.

I enjoy a good allegorical tale. Lovely illustration by a Filipino Canadian artist.

A story that covers immigration through a fantasy lens, showing how arbitrary the "requirements" are for those who are forced to or are wanting to escape to a different country to start over. The art is gorgeous and adds a lot to the story!
