Deveraux shines again. This book was enchanting, absolutely enchanting. It just goes to show that even though there may be a thing called "love at first sight" there are often other obstacles to get past before one can truly be happy.

I really loved finding out the history that was implied in the first book. And I can't wait to see what comes out in the next book.

I have not enjoyed many of Ms. Deveraux's more recent novels. Days of Gold recapture's a lot of the things that I love about her stories. Proud heroes, quick-witted heroines , banter!

I recommend this book to anyone who likes romance

An entertaining read, but still three stars because the story seemed superficial and the ending was too nicely packaged.

Aunque la protagonista me ha parecido insoportable, y la historia sosa, me ha hecho reír mucho, y ha habido algunas partes que no han estado tan mal.

I enjoyed this books. I loved the hoping around in time, the first book being around the present, the second in the past, then back again, and then back to the past. I enjoyed that. I particularly liked the books in the past, since they just seemed more rich with detail, and the stories had more to them then the modern day ones.

But I enjoyed all the books, I read them on my NY trip (all but the last one, that's why it's week 20, too) so they'll have a special place in my heart.

I loved how there was all these connections between the familys, and the kids, and decendents, it was pretty cool to see, and how the author linked everybody, it was very interesting to me!

The books were very good, and I liked them a lot, and I'd recommend then to anyone who likes one familys' journey, and all the people that they meet.

Started out well, but I got a little bored toward the end of the story.
