I really liked Fia as a main character, and exploring her inner thoughts and conflicts. I found the pacing to be quite slow, which may be due to the full moon portion of the mission. Rogan is blegh, and really needs to make up his mind and realize that he needs to account Fia's feelings when it comes to this relationship. I wish there were more exploration on the swan maidens rather than the main two, Eala and Chandi.

I liked Fia and Irian's slow-burn relationship. Though the spicy scenes were not my thing. Overall, enjoyable read and will read the second book.

The bones of this story were so good, I loved the overall plot but I felt like there was something missing in the fae world. Maybe it'll be more fleshed out with the next book, it just felt very limited. Otherwise I really liked how it wasn't clear where the romance was going to go and I'll definitely read the next one!

Very heavy on the romance but I liked the plot, the magic and the world enough to overlook the unnerving love triangle and the spicy scenes that I personally just did not need. Fia is a complex and intriguing (albeit naive) main character who I am eager to learn more about in the sequel.
