This is her newer release and I did enjoy it. Although, I didn't enjoy it as much as the previous one. I didn't find myself laughing out loud as much!
There's a lot more illustrations in this book and there's more to read too. It's not the issue at all. It's actually a preferred thing. I think I just didn't find it as funny and maybe a lot of the "rules" are things that I've heard a lot.
If you love this author, definitely check this one out. It's still good and a really cool, quick read. If you haven't read this author before, read her previous (Eulogy) book first!!

This book was exactly what I needed on this dreary Monday morning. I wonderful combination of humor and truths had me smiling the entire time. I could feel myself chucking and nodding along to some of the "tips" and shaking my head but still laughing at others. I think this would make a great gift for a partner if they see the humor in it; I definitely will be showing this to my husband because I know he has a similar sense of finding humor even in the truthful bits. Even the forward had me smiling. The drawings were wonderful and I definitely can see myself picking up this book and flipping through it from time to time.

Pleasant but not my cup of tea entirely. I know it's a style choice, but as all the illustrations are overweight middle-aged folk, the humor seems aimed at that same demographic.

Came across this book while cataloging at work and since it was so short, I decided to quickly read it. It was so funny! Some of the best relationship advice, such as resolving your differences by dueling (lol!). This book made me chuckle and I ended up sending several Snapchats to my boyfriend with the caption "This is so us". Great for a fun, laughable read!
