I enjoyed this more than the first book! It was nice getting to be more connected to the characters by this plot and having the multi-POV was nice too (even tho some characters I just wanted to skip). Definitely a fun time with the trials/games involved too!

i LOVED this book, like seriously i could not put it down, i loved the whole idea of the tournament and i’m so glad we get to see more of Rhy and the royal family in this book too my only thing is that the whole book felt like a setup for book 3 like idk i thought the buildup for the ending was good but maybe it could’ve happened earlier? 

either way i’m becoming obsessed w this series
