Oh no, this book! Pride and Prejudice used to be my favorite period drama but now! This was way too great! And the ending, oh boy, the ending! How can someone from the 1800s be such a great author to great this funny and original ending! Read this book, if you care for romance, please!

3.5 ✨ I enjoyed my little adventure ☺️ the writing is charming and witty, as are the characters! John and Margaret’s romance had me swooning, although it took them FOREVER to get together lol. I admit I skimmed some parts of the story, and although I did my best, I didn’t quite understand all the characters’ conversations. This book gives cozy spring vibes!

This was amazing, I was absolutely in love with the way Margaret's opinions and views gradually changed along with those of Mr Thorton. In fact, I feel that many of the characters views were changed by the end, and it was so beautifully written and detailed that I couldn't stop reading it!
