3.5 out of 4...this is a sweet, quick read about a 17 year old girl dealing with her parent's divorce and her father's upcoming marriage. Through a twist of fate caused by being 4 minutes late for her flight, she meets a boy...

This was a light read, fun, intelligent, and generally really good. I liked how it wasn´t just a love story, and the depth of it was nice. The main character (Hadley) could be anyone in her situation, and that made her relatable to me. 4 stars, pretty good overall.

Okay hmm... one thing that I know of Jennifer Smith's books is that while there isn't a lot going on with the characters, the plot makes up for it. Just like this book. I wasn't engrossed in the story, but I liked the idea. I like her style of writing, but everything falls short with the characters. I didn't get to know them that much, but I got to know their background. I just feel that there's something always lacking in her books, and this is just my opinion, but I'm definitely not a fan of third person point of views when it comes to contemporary novels. I feel like I get to know more about the characters if it comes directly from them you know?
Anyways, this wasn't a bad book, I just felt that it lacked so much.

This book has just been a rollercoaster of laughing and crying and just being hopeful that Hadley and Oliver get to meet each other again. This story was so sweet and heartfelt, I just totally cried like three times, and only very few books have accomplished this. Including a couple of Nicholas Sparks books. I was just so weepy throughout this entire book, and I just loved every minute of it. I think a lot of people want to find love at first sight, but I think that most can be very skeptical about it. This book makes me want to believe that it could definitely happen. I guess I'm just a wishful thinker like that. Or a helpless romantic when it comes to finding love. It's just so refreshing to be open to love and hope for the best. This book is just epic all on its own, and it was truly worth the read to see how Hadley and Oliver became closer throughout their adventure. It was truly magical.
