Rob Bliss is a new name to me.. I happened to stumble across him on Twitter. So I read one of his anthologies. If you keep up with my reviews, you know I like various stories by a new to me author so I can glimpse in their head.
Rob Bliss did not disappoint. As with most shorts, there were a few that I wish had been longer.
His ideas are very original, starting with a story about bugs that infest humans for their master. Ending with a man who physically battles his mother's cancer. And there is such a great variety in between these stories.
Each one held my interest. My favorite was about a soldier in a foxhole. Normally, I avoid military stuff since I was a real life soldier, but I really liked that one.
If you're in the mood for a variety of stories then you can't go wrong with this book
