This was a really cute idea, but the writing style is a little to tell-instead-of-show for me. It also felt kind of long. But I can see why people would really like it.

I found this book to be a fun read, but too long. It could have benefitted from stronger editing, potentially one or two fewer side plots would have helped the pacing. Overall this is a cute love story with flourishes of the supernatural. I found the characters to be really endearing, and the sex scenes were quite well written. I’m not 100% sure I’d recommend it - this is more of a skim than a deep read to me.

Love how this book shows how amazing is a queer community, I did not expect that the book about time traveling will be interesting. But it is. I love some of the characters. But I wish the ending was a bit darker, but overall it's still a good book and very informative.

One Last Stop is a simple sci-fi romance stuffed with quirky characters with small supernatural elements.

Good and interesting characters that don't bore because they're new (even thought they follow character tropes, they aren’t underwhelming). I’m rooting for all of them and I like their dynamics a lot. They’re a found family.

I found the main couple a bit boring unfortunately. They seemed to be the only characters I hoped more from. I guess it was hard for me to understand their struggles.

The story involves queerness past just the romance. It discusses queer history and shows it through the perspective of a character that has lived through some of the worst of it. It gets emotional and heavy.

I’m not a huge fan of the writing in this book. Millennial new adult book humour and dialogue is not my personal favourite. Some of the romantic sap got a bit too repetitive, corny, and just overall didn’t work for me. Some, however, did. It’s a mixed bag. The descriptions are vivid, engaging the senses. It’s the dialogue that didn’t work for me.

This book is nsfw and has some graphic sex scenes. I was not expecting this especially having reading Red, White and Royal Blue which was was not nearly as explicit. However, props to Casey. That is how the lesbians are doing it.

I was expecting a different ending. But it’s not a terrible ending.
Exactly what you’d expect from a romance. Gays deserve happy endings!! Jane and August got theirs. Either way, I was waiting for it to end.

THIS book was just… amazing. At first, I was scared that the characters were somewhat stereotypical and that the author was just trying to get diversity points. But instead, each one of them has depth, flaws and is endlessly loveable and sooo well written. The way their personalities differ and yet add up to each other is incredible and makes the reading experience so much more realistic. The plot is a mix between mystery, jokes and some amazing plottwists which I did not see coming while staying pretty relatable (time travel aside). I‘d say that this book is mainly character driven, but most definitely not boring. It’s the perfect combination of self-reflection, character development and action. I wish I could read it for the first time again.
