Blame it on the holidays but this book took a long time to read. it went on and on and on. I could do with a few less pages and a lot less inner thoughts from Mac. But that doesn't make it any less epic, with many epic moments, twits and turns. And a cliff hanger. 5 stars because this series keeps on giving.

Similar to the Mac/Barrons unfolding, still patiently waiting for the Dani/Jada /Ryodan unfolding
This was the first time I didn't pay attention to moning's release date of the Fever series. I stumbled across it by accident and my only, underwhelming thought was "oh so the next one is out".
Sadly after Burned I have lost my enthusiasm for the Fever series and Feverborn only solified that fact.
After 7 books I'm over Mac and her inner dialogues only focussing on her... It's annoying and done to death! I mean seriously this series is now running out of original ideas and only copies itself!
Ryodan now tattoos Jada, gives her a cell phone with some wannabe nifty acronyms.
Barrons andMac basically just fuck each other because there is nothing left to their dialogues...
Jo and Lor.. God is that really necessary?
And Dani/Jada...blah. Just blah. She tries to be super tough but frankly she's just an annoying cold bitch and this entire split personality thing is just stupid in my eyes.
Oh and since this series has already done every possible Mac drama there is, let's make a new one and bring Alina back!!
No really I don't know what happened to thhis series but it's pretty dann obvious that Fever was supposed to be a five book thing. But the cry of fans and money made Moning continue on and sadly in my eyes she is only butchering the characters I used to love.
I am seriously considering not continue reading this series. soon I'll hate the characters so much I wont be able to go back and re read the first books of this used to be magnificent series!

I haven't enjoyed this one as much as the others. For me, it's like it lacks a central plot. Some stuff happens, but there isn't unity. There's no plan to solve the problem I thought it was going to be solved in this book. I'm getting tired of Mac and her "priorities". And I can't forgive the author about what she has done to the characters from her other saga.
As happens before, a so-so book with a couple of good chapters at the end
