A good set-up that felt rushed and left me disappointed.

Portia writes something and I will try everything in my power to read it, because the way that she makes her stories so easy to read and so addictive, we have our main character going through a Christmas adventure and i couldn't stop read it, because i really wanted to know how it would end.

“Dani, did you draw a pair of tits on Gerry’s snowman?” my dad asks …

3.75. I’ve been pretty disappointed with my Christmas reads thus far this year, so maybe my standards are dropping, but I had a lot of fun with this one!

Dani And Rex

I loved how the Author Had these two Interact from the Fun Zoom Games, having him in her pocket while she went shopping, to playing pranks on people at the Christmas party

After Dani was Dumped By Boss (and ready salted Tom) for a younger Model she is dreading Christmas, Just before work breaks for the Holidays she Is kissed by Co worker Rex (the expensive salt and vinegar crisps) and rolled into a fake relationship.

It was just so Cute and funny from the word go.

And that Yorkshire pudding Burger do those exist... I mean im from the Isle of wight and never tasted anything like that..... But i want too.... so bad

When Dani gets dumped and demoted, she thinks her life is spinning out of control, but when Rex steps in and enrolls her as a fake girlfriend, everything starts to change.

Single All the Way is a fun Christmas romance and pretty much exactly what you would expect from a Christmas romance. I was a quick read with fun characters and the Christmas feels. Overall this was an enjoyable holiday read that put me in the Christmas mood. It was a good read with a fun story and worth the time. I would recommend this to any romance fan looking for some holiday fun!

Thanks to NetGalley and the publisher for an ARC of this book!

Single All The Way by Portia MacIntosh

I received an advance review copy for free thanks to NetGalley and Boldwood Books and I am leaving this review voluntarily

Will Dani find love this Christmas? Or will she be Single All The Way...?

When Dani's boyfriend (and boss!) dumps her for a younger model, the only silver lining she can see is to be able to spend Christmas at home with her family after years away.

Determined to surprise them, Dani turns up unannounced in her hometown, excited to see that the festive season in Marram Bay is in full swing with Christmas lights twinkling on every corner. But disaster strikes when she finds her parents' house is empty and they appear to have gone away on holiday!

Christmas alone and single is not ideal, and when Dani starts bumping into old friends, neighbours and potential love interests, she can't face telling them the truth. So in a panic she claims to be home to throw a Christmas party for the whole town - easier said than done with 12 days to go before Christmas...

A Christmas book in August - it was needed. A highly entertaining read, that will keep the reader guessing what is going to happen next. A catchy title and a great cover are sure to draw in the readers, but the characters will make the reader stay until the end. A quick read to get you into the festive spirit.
